A favourite to emerge from my last kiln firing, this unique little bowl is handpainted with a pond scene. Inspired by the many happy hours I’ve spent watching fish darting around in the shallows. A rustic yet delicate piece.

I hand form these bowls out of earthy rich red earthenware clay, which I then hand paint and etch in scenes from around the Devon and Cornish countryside. Suggestive painting and tiny engraved details create lively and tactile pieces that take me many hours to create.

Please be aware of the handmade nature of my pieces. It is the celebration of the handmade process that makes them so joyful and unique. They are decorative pieces of ceramic art and should be handled with care. All work is signed.
